The state-of-the-art, Vegas-style resort is schedule to open on the state’s southern border about a year from now. The Bureau of Indian Affairs signed off on the compact last week which was approved by North Carolina official. The tribe says the casino could provide upwards of 4,000 jobs to North Carolinians in the Charlotte region.Â
