Former Chief Spokesperson and Head of Media Relations of First Union Corporation Connie Knight joins Good Morning BT with Bo Thompson & Beth Troutman in remembering former First Union bank CEO and Charlotte civic leader Ed Crutchfield who died yesterday at age 82.
Truist confirmed to CBJ all of the branches will close on March 30. A spokesperson said there were no job losses associated with the closures. All of the branches have a nearby counterpart that will stay open for customers. The second-largest bank in Charlotte, TFC takes in reportedly $80.6 billion per month.
