WBT's cyber security expert Theresa Payton joins The Bo Thompson Morning Show with new iPhone products, an important security update to close a spyware open door, and breaches of personal data.
The $1 billion campus will employ 3,000 people working on technology including software engineering and machine learning, according to a press release by Apple. It will be located in North Carolina’s Research Triangle area, near the campuses of the state's three major universities— NC State, Duke and North Carolina.
“Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas,” Apple said in a statement. “We take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation, and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible.”
