Rep. George Santos (R-NY) surrendered today on federal charges – seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives. Also, a civil court jury ordered former President Donald Trump to pay $5 million in damages to E. Jean Carroll over accusations that he raped her and then defamed her when she came forward.
