UNLV Begins To Vaccinate Medical School Students For COVID-19

Mecklenburg County Public Health says it will be opening additional Covid-19 vaccine appointments for the first 3 weeks of February based on anticipated vaccine supplies.

According to Dr. Meg Sullivan, Medical Director of Mecklenburg County Public Health, the county received additional 1950 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine and the county’s very first shipment of the Moderna vaccine (850).

Vaccines will still only be available to people in groups 1 and 2.

 

Appointments will available for scheduling beginning on Thursday January 21 at 8:30am.How will people make those appointments?

Either by booking online through the county website or calling Mecklenburg county Health at 980-314-9400 Option 3.

They say they’ll have people on duty returning calls between 24-48 business hours.

Public Health is administering vaccinations by appointment only at Bojangles Coliseum, 2700 East Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28205 | Map
