I want to talk about this ongoing mess in Texas, we’ve had now two press conferences in two days. And if it’s possible, we have seen these people bringing the information out to the press into the rest of the world, actually making it worse.

I don’t understand the way these law enforcement officers appear, and I support the cops 100%. I don’t understand how these cops, these law enforcement officers, it just seems like in the after action reports that there’s almost a nonchalance about this. It is 19 children murdered two teachers murdered. And it doesn’t feel like there was urgency, I’m not a cop. So I’m not going to pass judgment on how it is they’re- they’re reacting in the moment, because I don’t know I wasn’t in that I’m not in that tactical situation.

But the way the press people are interacting with the press is bizarre. I don’t I don’t understand it for the life of me. But I am going to tell you something right now. And this is not meant to be disrespectful to anybody in law enforcement. Not at all.

I pray for the men and women who go out there and do the most dangerous job on the streets of America each and every day. And they do it so well. People would CMPD people at the, at the sheriff’s departments and the police departments all around this community. But let me focus primarily on the state of Texas, because there is a little bit of a cowboy sort of mentality that looks to be on display here.
