The White House has moved one of its oldest traditions online this year.

The Egg Roll which is typically held on the South Lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. will be transformed into a virtual 360 tour, according to the White House Historical Association’s website.

This is the second consecutive year without an Egg Roll at the White House. The event was canceled out of precaution due to the Coronavirus pandemic and draws around 30,000 people every year. But the commemorative eggs that go to children at the event is a tradition that will stay alive.

While hopping around the site, you can learn about the history of the Easter Egg Roll by clicking on pink dots located around the Executive Mansion. If you complete the tour, you’ll be entered to win a set of official commemorative 2021 White House Easter eggs.

Despite the gathering not being in-person this year, President Biden is hopeful to have American’s hosting small events by July 4.

This year’s colorful eggs have a signature touch by the president and first lady with some having more details than others. The White House says thousands of the eggs will be donated to healthcare facilities after the event.
