President Biden got tripped up on the steps of Air Force One on Friday.

A video from The New York Post shows the 78-year-old commander-in-chief going down to his knees with a hand on the rail before falling two more times while attempting to regain his footing at Joint Base Andrews.

After standing up, Biden appeared to take a moment to dust off his knee before finally making his way to the top. He then gave a salute before entering the aircraft to take off for Atlanta, Georgia.

White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said Biden was not injured.

“I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” she tweeted. “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs.”

The video shows a clumsy side of Biden who recently recovered from a fractured foot while playing with his dogs, Champ and Major, that required him to wear an orthopedic boot for several weeks.

The President mocked his predecessor for his own stumbles during the campaign season last year. Biden questioned Trump’s agility after a viral video showed the former President slowly making his way down a ramp.
