Bears player calls Hernandez 'my guy' at double-murder trial

BOSTON (AP) -- Chicago Bears wide receiver Deonte Thompson has testified in the double-murder trial of ex-NFL star Aaron Hernandez. The former New England Patriots tight end played football with Thompson at the University of Florida. Thompson testified Monday about a Florida party he invited Hernandez to in February 2013. Brady's Super Bowl jerseys returned to New England Patriots

BOSTON (AP) -- Tom Brady's stolen Super Bowl jerseys are back with the New England Patriots. The jerseys worn by Brady during this year's Super Bowl and the 2015 Super Bowl were returned to Gillette Stadium Thursday, the FBI announced. Column: Brady's stolen jersey saga proves grime doesn't pay

A friend once explained the sports writing business this way: "We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us." Martin Mauricio Ortega was OK with the first part, but apparently not the second. Serial numbers, game photos may help verify Brady jerseys

BOSTON (AP) -- Now that authorities believe they have recovered the jersey stolen from Tom Brady's locker following the Patriots' Super Bowl win last month, the next step will be determining whether it is in fact the MVP quarterback's missing grass-stained garment. So how exactly does that happen? Old-fashioned detective work.

Jury hears from tattoo artist in ex-NFL star's murder trial

BOSTON (AP) -- The jury in Aaron Hernandez's double-murder trial is hearing from a tattoo artist who inked an image of a gun and the phrase "God Forgives" on the former New England Patriots star. Prosecutors say the phrase and the image of a six-shot revolver are evidence Hernandez killed two men after one of them bumped into him at a Boston nightclub and spilled his drink in 2012.
