Text your sister choice of mr. brown is temporary sheriff is a terrible idea when you share a few rain bring in Greenville was his own little fiefdom. And an iron fist. There's a recent all the sheriff's. We're called Johnny's. That's kind of intriguing. Then sixteen year old voting this is how we get rid of the Second Amendment. To probably years. Lots are term it has to do is offer free condoms and tide pods to get there. Thereof. Well what is it. Whatever it is they want I'm sure. Then zero tolerance minimum mandatory guidelines were set up because of perceived racial inequities in the problem. Has been solved by the government. Car right yeah you know how the government solves problems. Pence a month before the school shooting we had to tell these young people not to eat tide pods now they wanna lower the voting age to sixteen. We be better off to raise it to 35. Recruits dispersant say we'd go the other direction. In DC wants to lower the voting age to sixteen. In the trade I should be at sixteen you can be treading court as an adult to. You think they would agreed that probably knocked. All right he just a sampling of some of the item this year on the takes lion. Only condition retake this call is it safe to take this call Charles. Our age we're gonna doing its roll the dice Willie good morning how are you. I had in my Rangel what they're saying if I'm if they were amigo you know that the only thing. I guess that answers my question. Sometimes. Some times I really have to what. But apart and we were just talking about younger people in the concerns about them be able to run the country. I don't think we need to examine some more of the adults like dispersal was suggesting growing up to 35. Form Brody yeah each. Maybe that's something we got to consider. Balloon boy what else do we possibly do. I did want to give you a heads up about some things were gonna talk about later in the week. For the environment protection agency administrator Scott Pruitt office violated federal law. Yes. 43000. Dollars soundproof Booth. They government watchdog. That reports to congress. I decided requirement that executive branch agencies have to notify congress before spending. More than 5000 dollars on certain office improvements. And for this reason they have reported this. This is crazy 43000. Dollars. To make this sound proof a Bluetooth. What do you need a soundproof Booth. What is said again. Oh yeah. Goodness I'm so as a great day in god bless you try to think this is still Vince Coakley radio program. Good Morning America. I was elected to represent. The citizens of Pittsburg. Harris exposing the lie. Saturation there are too many guns on the street we lose 93. Million Americans today gun battle. Loony left and when Donald Trump says to the world well we're gonna negotiated better deal for me that's like OJ Simpson saying don't run find the real. Good morning welcome back to broadcast the we view the opportunity. Discuss the news events today one of them. As you know we carried out military action in Syria just a few days ago now finally. Inspectors from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. They have entered doom this is the Syrian area where these weapons were supposedly years. A spokesperson for the certain station said they could not confirm or deny whether he'd just the inspectors entered the area. Due to safety reasons but we can tell you they've entered the area. I mean it's pretty straightforward here. France earlier warned it was very likely evidence was disappearing from the location of suspected poison gas attacks. In a statement French Foreign Ministry said it's very likely prove an essential elements are disappearing from this site. Be Russian foreign minister. Sergey Lavrov has denied that claim told the BBC. I can guarantee Russia has not tampered with the site how many of you are going to believe the Russians or we would never tamper with the site. To. Rusher earlier said inspectors. Would soon be allowed in and we now have reports they are here. And beginning to do their work. To determine what has happened to. Movie very eager to find out what has transpired. I wanted to come closer to home at least back here to the states. An issue we did not talk about yesterday. But I want to delve into this today because. I believe this is a good development and it goes to a broader issue in a broader concern that I have that was further stimulated by conversation. But they had with a friend just yesterday. It was odd we were just the middle of something and in this case in recent. You know stick around sick I want to talk to you about something and I I thought I was gonna talk about something business related to whatever. And it's more and behold he wanted to talk about Starbucks. His perspective will probably surprise issue. I'm going to tell you more about that after. This update about what is taking place. Which I think is a good development as CEO of Starbucks Kevin Johnson. Has now met with the two black men arrested. At the Philadelphia Starbucks. Johnson has apologized for the way they were treated. The company according to a company spokesperson. This spokesperson did not disclose details of the meeting. But it's. There was an apology into place. Could you not familiar with the story. Last Thursday to me and into the Starbucks in the ass to use the bathroom and employee told them it was only for paying customers. We've then they set the store without ordering anything a manager called the police the men were arrested for trespassing. Ultimately no charges were filed this case but this is really really set off all kinds of people. Johnson has called this incident reprehensible apologized publicly for it. He said on Monday he wanted to apologize. To the men in person which is now done. Describing. His heart in advance I'd like to have a dialogue with them so that I can. Ensure we have the opportunity to really understand situation. Shows some compassion and empathy. For the experience they went through. Finally. As working to resolve this I'd like to invite them to join me in finding constructive way to resolve this issue. This is good this is what's called leadership. Leadership. I think I've shared with huge number of things about my journey the last ten years. In learning more about relationship. End to. I'm more convinced than ever. Life is about relationship every single facet of it and anything that doesn't operate on this paradigm. It's not worth having. That's how I view my life now you may have a different perspective this is why have repeatedly said. If we think restoring America. The solution to restoring America is simply capitalism. And money. We are in for a rude awakening. Because if we don't have the foundations of relationship. Then there's really nothing. But sinking sand there were standing on. And where there are lapses in that relationship. There has to be leadership. To bridge these gaps to bring people together and resolve conflicts. Which I have to absolutely applaud. Kevin Johnson the CEO of Starbucks for doing. The company is also confirm the manager who called the police is no longer working at that store well that's a good start. Starbucks would not comment on. Others report other reports and the dispersants left the company by mutual agreement. It is Good Morning America appearance Johnson refused to say whether she'd been disciplined saying he didn't want to point blame. Had my responsibilities. To look. Not only at that individual to look more broadly the circumstances that set that up to ensure this never happens again. Since worn out. Here's the other aspect and this is what I would call in some respects the white Maurice aspect of this protesters gathered inside and outside the story throughout the day. Chanting Starbucks. Coffee is anti black. Can I just tell you this is stupid. And really years. Store briefly shut down after the protesters injured. Also on Monday if FaceBook video taken in January surfaced of a similar incident. And it Torrence California Starbucks net video Blackmon was asked to leave. When he objected and a white customer have been given the same code to use the bathroom. That he was rejected for. He actually got the code before he ordered shoot. But this courtesy was not extended to the black customer. Starbucks indicated there are aware of this video. Please don't we take this video the commentary around it very seriously and are closely working with the team to understand more. As you know were fully investigating a store practices guidelines crossed. The company she said the company is also working the outside experts. And community leaders to adopt best practices including training to combat. Unconscious bias. Or finding wonderful. What I ate what share. From a conversation. With a friend yesterday. He was upset. He was upset by a what this is being turned into. So ultimately this is about. These guys. These guys who were mistreated. And he agreed with me that. We don't know what the motivation is behind this to assume this is ratio. Is. It's really way way out of line we don't know we really do not know. And this concern is so many in this is a black friend of mine. So many they want the issue so badly. That they wanted to turn everything into a racial incidents. But on balance here. It's a bathroom. It's a store that sells coffee. If you don't wanna go don't go. But to protest. And spend time and energy on this. It's a profound. Waste of time and with the apology as far as I'm concerned. Case is closed. This is still Vince Coakley radio program. 19 minutes after 10 o'clock for the Vince Coakley radio program. Getting your reaction to what's happened with the starve like situation. Just a few items here on the text line and let's see where we will begin. Let's start here. Prince do you believe it's human and Starbucks instant it was simply accept an apology or will they lawyer up and ask for millions of dollars. Starbucks says this deep pockets. It's apparently they didn't really need the best the bathroom because they set down to last leave so what does that tell you. I don't know I don't talk to these guys. And be interesting to find out. With the circumstance actually is this is we give you a little further information on this in fact I can't someone send a message to media today they were talking about eight. Situation a church situation. He said Iraq I need some advice. Bands there's an organization that I have. Mostly high esteem Ford's called peacemakers. And it's I'd love their materials their absolutely awesome I remember we went through this. With the church we were involved in several years ago aunts. And materials are so. And I think one of the one of the things that I've learned. And here's a freebie. Here's a free before you. First off if you got a problem with someone trying to get that resolved one on one. And you try as much as possible not to expand the circle of people involved. This is part of what upsets me about the media. I know here I am in the media. But so many of these situations. There are situations between individuals or person any business or a person and as a corporation wherever it is. And too often that gets lost in a political narrative. Whatever that narrative might peak. And all kinds of other people get involved not knowing the facts and start spouting off about something they're not involved in. In a lot of times and I try to work at this I don't always succeed. But increasingly. I don't want to get involved in other people's business. I don't. And sometimes. When something is. Unrelated to me and my business. I need to just stay out of it. And I don't have to know all the facts. Ted this is part of what our media culture has cultivated. We've become knows he. And we become busy bodies. Getting involved in all of these things that we really don't have to know anything about why we nationalize. A circumstance like this. And turned into a racial incident. That's so much of what happens is that you see it all the time. Gerald out of conference could morning. A good morning sir I think. Palahniuk told the unthinkable optional content get up and get where we're. Oh my goodness Jerrold. When we gonna do it you. This guy's hilarious is always good for comic relief by the way which is why like a month price become pollen. I think it was Friday there mister Friday went to the car washed after it's who worked on on its. The next date it was completely yellow with public. I can relate to the problem. I get it Franken morning. Droid bears got a got a question although I haven't heard that is financed or an answer to it that. Was the store manager acting old Starbucks company policy. When they ask you don't believe all I was so that they they acted older old. If they acted all their old old they were sort there were acting no company policy. I think they've got a really nice lawsuit. That they could you wind against all but he'll comment you're. Here wondering whether it's policy yeah I appreciate your call there freight my understanding is the the idea behind this. Was. You were. I you know did this is what was communicated by this person this manager anyway. They they wanna avoid people loitering in the store. But Charles are very informal part came from a producer here. He sent this to me a company spokesperson said Starbucks does not have a broad policy prohibiting people from using restrooms or sitting inside for free. Allowing individual stores to set their own rules. The Philadelphia Starbucks store where the arrest occurred has a rule in place customers can only use restrooms if they purchase something such rules would allow. Starbucks to ask you believe under federal law businesses like Starbucks can refuse service. For reasons other thing and discrimination. Memory said this to you I get very concerned. When people their default position is everything has to do with race just because it was a black guy. Mr. black guys this was discrimination. Now we could just be. As far as this person this manager was concerned there was no business being conducted here somebody was just they're using their restrooms and they don't want to people who were not customers using their restrooms. So that's a discussion that can take place here. Now it's and it's one thing. You have a matter of people. Not wanting people use your restroom is another thing to have that person arrested for trespassing. This I'm serious. This gets again soon leave the area of discretion right and wisdom. Are you gonna carry it that far to the point you're willing to make a total idiot out of yourself. It it goes back to the incident just like the year it was at United Airlines. We have the passenger they had to take off the airplane the move the police came. Now you can do that it was perfectly in their rights to do that was that Smart no it was purely idiotic. This is where people need to exercise discretion and wisdom and these things are in short supply now they really are. Ryan and good morning. Morgan play younger racer. So how would you visit our society that we have to take a record low or not he's in the after. Cleaners he very real I mean think about it or second. There are real issues out there that have to be QUK that need the attention of attorneys and judges. And feel Alter scrutiny that we can Muster. Now we have some meat and so heard over the fact that he should like that you bathroom and then now here we are talking about it at our current context that there's got to play I don't even know where. You know what if you're if you're run and at Starbucks. And you tell some of the keys are darker I would assume that they had a good read forward. And then. And then you know on top of that. Where the damages. I mean what are what are somewhat hurt feelings or. What we should do men and you know you can quote talk about tort reform and promote our food service. So what we should do it we should make its so if you take the lead according you boot. Yet to be that person quote caught wasting their time because now what can happen to declare a national attention. Some lawyer weren't making informed so gonna be decided didn't think cope. Were you denied to restroom access and Starbucks reading did you see the commercial now. Eagle O'Grady in if we had it set up where he takes a look at court they would be the same course look at all alike with Doug. What do you north whose government are those that forget property or some sort of followed in your sidebar because you didn't. New civil literal hey guess what there's there's site. You know bill together like pared its interest 40000 because the lady but the thought and and. Well it's like are you crazy and it's in particular Corey knew who you go to court costs that we are court. And our feet deep down to do opener and it came. I'm up there with you Ryan and I should add something else here by a about the media appreciate your call and we love these stories can add to be honest with you can tell you we'd love these stories. Man vs man that's. I mean this is about as basic as you get and hey if there's some racial overtone to all we'd love it even better. Let's be honest about that. The story. Is more important. Then. These values and the principles. And really understanding the truth and understanding. What's really gone on. This story is the most important to always keep that in mind when you're watching the news. The reasons why can't do that stuff anymore. Much more. Including your calls on this subject we will take that as we continue to broadcast this 1:29 minutes after 10 o'clock. This is still Vince Coakley radio program. Maybe we should have the microphones ready during the break and just had a great conversation here we're. Just talking about issues a customer service and relationships. This goes far beyond this incident is Starbucks you know if there is the take away from this. Is really. One for self examination rather than getting jumped piling on to some sort of political argument here where to go after Starbucks whatever it is. Do some introspection here and didn't. The first thing you said before winter. Break well I'd I'd had the for a good fortune of having management classes and more of them was learning in the instructor for Stephen Covey seven principles of highly effective people. I'm one of those principles very simply is begin with the end in mind. If all of our interactions. If we took a moment thought about what we're going to do say how are going to be native. And what the result of that will do. We wouldn't do some of the things we do have. You're absolutely right combine that with the thought of it's almost always better to be kind then to be right. I love that went. That is really good this is X much easier said than done and believe me. I am I say it was every day but it doesn't mean I do every day I thought but I sure believe it. But you strive for that I hear I really do and and it's it's demonstrated in the and the way you you operate here no question about that I love that considered to be kind and to be right. And you also raised this question what kind of company would it be. If every employee were like to meet. That's boy that's really good. Really good stuff and sometimes it means bucking the system. It in a way and challenging the whole picture of the place you may work especially if you're a place that's based on customer service to. And customer service is really an oxymoron where you work. Are you need to be an influence. Have a conversation with your managers and talk about you know we really screwing up here tonight. More on this. Can I help other people with this. I am well I'll just leave this alone for now let's to bill. Good morning bill. Good morning all point of interest but as far as trust passing. Most jurisdictions. You have to be asked totally you and then a law enforcement is called. They're usually informed. Internally officer. Dead in the ability of the nuclear trespassing. The minute they come back. Then you rest them for trust us and so they need to check conceived it looked law has no jurisdiction. To slump or or for a lot of years in the well beautiful shade below. Our company new permanent trespassing UN assembly. And then they come back. They're drawn from trust lesson. Deb there's a definite process to this to be followed no question about a bill thank you very much for your call scrub through Samantha good morning. Sorry world I do well. Can't get around the format the more information that app and a Bane is. Even though after they went to the bathroom they were waiting on someone so calm calm because they reported to have a meeting at so many people do. And so that was hit Condo markets are and then even though we don't wanna necessarily call it racist. We have to realize that people still have prejudice. And sometimes we do have healthy precedent. But it I think that was just the incidents where there was a prejudice that was demonstrated. And I as a black woman has just come through. Adopt the concept that a war tolerated in society and I am except that in society. And that just based on my experience and they without Bartow. My husband bought an older model car look at the corner restore. Within that what he's a box seven. And he ended up selling the car because the fact that what you will mark the hassle that can't we have the ability to poke out. It was flat in 1988. Road map do you love laughter. Really really yeah that rarely did he ever address this with the authorities. We did address that with their authority. And they basically says that alone. Simply they would have been ordered out there which is what. The. Police and the traffic in the area. OK ME where that really citing any violations speeding or running a stop sign her. Not only ticket that he actually that he had 84 all around its license plate. And they say that part of the flying what covering. Are all year for the registry to admit he tip there and that was the only on the fact pace and that he was given for that I'm the outsider that he was never. I own size difference. TI at and understand the context worm sharing the Samantha. I've decided incident to have the server years ago with one of my nephew's end it was very obvious it was harassment by the police. I think you need to nail these people to the wall when they do things like this and you know as opposed to this other incident there was probably. Much more made of this than shooter bin you know in terms of but these kinds of situations as you describe Samantha if it is as you described. These these incidents do need attention. Then and these people need to be held accountable if this if they're pulling somebody over over and over and over again. And there's really no cause. Somebody needs to be held accountable for that very dear people have too much time on their hands when we've got crime going on. And they are spending time with something like this. It not only you know you can do you raised questions about the wisdom what they're doing and why. You have to raise questions about whether they are effectively using their time would you agree Samantha. Oh I I definitely agree comment and I completely agree that we don't necessarily need to boycotted. I don't book about it that you create a low scoring and and it's it's about the white Norway's own but I'll vote until we can't downplay the sort of part that the could be within our situation. We went to the police and they were just it was a situation that's your word that Barack because again because there was no paper trail he wasn't being cited for anything. It was literally a situation where an hour to get its. And we wouldn't have been NAACP. To see if there was any assistance that they can do it and the only suggested that they gave what you need to put out lookalike the suspects and that's what competent without a car. You point. Sorry this is happen as it has Samantha I do appreciate your call. And you what this is one the other thing exit that I would bad for her for people who might be have eager to dismiss something like this. One of the things that we've got to learn how to do is identify with people in circumstance you have to agree with everything that happens. How was dealt with whatever. Identify with a human being who went through something. Ends you don't necessarily have to take some sort of position that steady it's friendly to them in that regard. But. Listen to this story. You know please listen to the story Tim. Of guts to about a minute here for get a break in mourning Tim. I also met it's not just cause and I guess you'd court master poll here all the time. The numbers of ways can be and got a lot here so. So this isn't racial this is that there are saying this is a car profiling thing this is a suspicious type car we need to look out for. It must be mark your program here you nick and his associated with drug dealing I mean maybe I'll do a Google search during the break and ask your Buick ruled masters. You know Communists. Issue right now. Actually no it's. A well. Solicitor over the course or return today your phone home every simple. First start this Starbucks saint. Yes sir but I thought. Did it big or bigger coffee house. And apparently don't Carpio. And their owner didn't feel you've argued that progression. Free by top. But for our purposes. Did have publicly traded stock. So I think the rules trying to change as far as. What you're going from do you notice I was. The only thing that has killed well there there are there are certainly in primetime birthday they do not gonna get their act together. This is still Vince Coakley radio program. 1049 Vince Coakley radio program Kentucky abouts the broader issues of customer service and follow up. The Starbucks story. Stick to call here from Don Atlantic good morning. Okay yes sir. Hey thanks particular call. So yeah not story yesterday a truck proper. Fumbled the rug right out of Atlanta big yesterday I was in the panel. And I was picking up blood break. At this place and not want to check of the security guard. The law according to put door about an hour later I got back up to security lady. That's not speculate restaurant she got all we don't have public restrooms. And possible much general public out but I bureau official visit to pick up a lot of great truck yet you're low you can use our restrooms are broken right. And I'll play it beltway Bob other outward probably not got to a store I bought it to go into the building. And I'll walk up to the dock workers not to where the restroom. And they got deadlocked over their fortitude the wall and out walked into the mid term and not using the restroom. The manager comes in eight dispute may be bigger that you had permission to use this. My goodness. And not have brought it up for permission the second com. I said but it the basic human right that all human being should have the ability to use the restroom. In a restroom where they need to go out new and not be out in the middle accusing her restaurant where he can probably. Floppies as I watched and followed up that. Now let's talk about looking a bit more cops said. Where what you would like for refused to register beat that you can use that tree lined up the building only you know all. Updates that you will lead to expose our belt and commit I. Indecent exposure. And become a potential threat that. Now that your opponent in this. They were blacked out why you don't want him Lou I don't. Discrimination. I split Bob if he he he used security gate that well a vote shall look to walk in the book that Greg where how about that sorry. That's a lot of crap he know it not so much out that that which people are telling you tell me I think that you know a lot of crap. And but the bottom wanted this to tell her people bigger management that basic human. Right. It to be able to use the restroom. And nine. You'd either look at or racial and I'd simply lit set it up. A boat hit what's say. But but you know I just to take a while they'll Alder lumber truck property if you wanna fill like de Becker and why consider than just drop the truck it's not just about anywhere. They try to use the restroom or or anything that double and your declined it's it's not go to this every single day. Man I'm sorry to hear about that Don it's. Who really unfortunate. Against common sense I mean what is what is the real price of living you use the restroom. I mean what would do what is that. I I just don't get it I really don't get it. Just couldn't John in union town and good morning. Good morning at their area parades. I guess. And I bet both gentlemen are pretty much everybody very fortunate that. The a rep sports and didn't go Barack down dip earlier or badly. I think of the country we've gotten away from. Multiple orders and equally you know pain and in Iraq you do something given you an order reduced confidence vote kinda litigated adjudicate it right there on scene Burton. Complying. And moving on but I wouldn't like that Portland be Dohmann. If you watch the video you followed offered Bloomberg chair away. In preparation for you know possibly wrong way arrest broke up a a replica of badly. Yeah it's it's a good thing it's and some level cool heads prevailed in this in this really could have been a lot worse. A whole lot worse John appreciate your call. One final call on this from free kick no good morning. Yup yup this is practically very OK I've got to share. Yeah I guess sort of quit when a couple of years ago here in Charlotte. So overall sell laundry small little. Community there is there with a Q there's strip stores try my don't sell an avenue when there's a shoe store and there are other issues repaired leg that quite a bit. And I came out with my issues in the bag and it. Know what will locally in my car which is parked in front of the little smoothie shop. And all the sudden they receive here you know there's quite cared who got twelve not retiring enter an address well not. So look okay let's have got the bag from London you know they'll change story in the here. I gotta go now I got there I got here it fast so I saw this little stood the store and I opened the door. And I headed straight for the black because they're cheaters out in the front court and is pretty much attack like. What I thought was no one of the workers so later don't think. The end a couple others were trying to propel me being eaten. Regular customers can of the kind of hippie regular customer guy's gonna sit please excuse me I gotta get to the bathroom in the right back out to be a minute I'll be right back and industrial pollution. And the black guy says. Appears at least twenty late twenties or maybe early thirty. Yes a lot of public bathroom this is monitor and understand that to give him that I'm I would be right back in. Not to have to say you know you might come back in order shot that you might by some that. Entrepreneurs urgent push. Either that aren't gonna make the big men Al Nasr of the Sony helped. I made at the end that I had to fight my way through the door didn't have a chance Lockett. After I left the bathroom Lisa thank you know and are coming up front he again got to me because there's a look back out of the kitchen area that. He came out to be anti two whoa whoa wait a minute you know worship manager he. That I am the manager and I am the owner of the is not a public storied political approach is streak across so what which portability. To the gas station over their eyes and I'm sorry I just couldn't have a moment completed just came on the quickly and and so we covered this big. Now trying to figure out why no doubt were alleged demand their reasons were actually taking nothing well I'll get there. Well the what led bear this is going to require some real explanation from authorities is that see that's the side of this we've not heard. We've now heard from the company apologizing saying this was a mistake. So now we got to hear from police why did they ride they take the action arresting its kinda like the situation we were discussing with the united passenger. Where the police came and dragged the guy off you know we can talk about the account from the airlines perspective. But the police officer had to make a decision here to arrest people for being inside the Starbucks. No jacket dumping dozens of police have to practice like god judges practice where they have mandatory minimums that they have there. Issue well I mean that the police have no discretion to make. See that's a good bets have excellent question Tony. Because of fiery in this situation. I mean I hear if if there were you know I would use my discretion and say all right guys just take off. And so let's just in this year's. I've been I'm not going to arrest you. Creates yeah. And I put in my issue presidency if you're gonna fire me over that then not I'm gonna go get a job somewhere else yeah. This is still Vince Coakley radio program. In nineteen on the Vince Coakley radio program and probably up on the text line. Someone correcting someone who text earlier. Dexter said Johnny Mack Brown was a drunk that's vicious gossip that that text or does he knew Johnny Mac pure slander. Also on this issue that we've been talking about a lot of people have been Chiming in on this whole bathroom accommodation issue and Starbucks. Police issued a statement officers do not want arrest tried to negotiate for fifteen minutes been refused a request to leave. Thus trespass. They removed but released outside the establishment. Can people can't respect the law by the way let me take what I would do in this circumstance. I would leave. And I would tell that particular. Manager I would not come back and I would send a letter to the corporate headquarters. And let them know I was treated. There's no reason to I mean one which you wanna risk having an arrest record. Over. Staying at some stupid Starbucks. I don't care where it is it's not worth it it really isn't. Boys some people just have the right to do whatever they want well some people think so. Dispersants are you say sir you just shrug your shoulders when they refuse to comply. Arm. I changed it again hey Eddie if there's third times that. Again you got to re raised a question you wanna be right to only be wise. And I think this is one of those we're kind of exercise from discernment you really do. Jared good morning welcome. I don't fare doing well. I'm on a typical myself I'll only be called. Let sleeping an escalation of earth for fuel tank owners don't. I'm ready question when sufferers themselves and they were called by the company's North Pole you know they told them that they asked knowing their word then I'd get sending their children trapped in believe it or. So that's what I know the preposterous. Don't know the facts story order racial or whatever carpet stirred by impair their do their job. And since that's where it windy and warm hearted person it's not okay well you know maybe next time. No they had the new editor couldn't argue that it hit it says that would about the matter at that they're they're good as former and so I'm Bernie. You know it's question of wheat gluten smoke there's no option. You're being questioned this story is. Starbucks to see you actually called we the first place. Yep bids it is very questionable on the very least Jared I do appreciate you Carl. Brian good morning. Then thank thank Butler competent for the show. I worked in Pennsylvania for six years the police botnet deputy constable. In Pennsylvania they're two different types attract a better regular truck or you have no right to be. The profoundly get a replica that defiant trespass. It after your holder asked believe by whoever's in control property. And I will guarantee you even though wasn't there those police officers talked of those guys. And so what they're in control the property they want you to leave. You have to leave but dollars to it and you don't leave any direct effort defiant trespass. And that's why you define the owner of the property police whoever's in control proper. The police have no they have not that the so bullish in the thick of the company. The management are they wanna do that but that's what it's the private property issue. Yep you're actually writes I appreciate your perspective on this again for meat I don't wanna be somewhere I'm not welcome. I mean how complicated is that. I just don't wanna be there. In any way. Marquette a run Q good morning. Yeah since. Performer content station attendant Anne Murray is always good observers say observer and things. I didn't work here regional. Regional. Corporation. That operates convenience stores and and had a fitness franchises and how the building was designed to I worked in the north in the world city. Not very larger than. Or I'm weren't calling from. When that when the sun went down the shift change. I don't recall exactly. I worked the overnight. See now I'm the bathroom mirror those. Was. I people couldn't sit. During the day during the other other ships by using a key I'm going to an outside door. But that door. That's how good how was laid out was that they're just person to get access to that assertion about Germany overnight hour. So nobody comes in that door. And yes it's as the key had to be replaced yes I have I think I've all of the rest here call or here are saying. Just don't have to go to have to go if someone has to go wherever they feel the public and a couple of truck drivers. And there's no facility bear their regular on this side of the road. They're tired they need if you are shut eye injury. Or trichet right. To find someplace else pops up paper logs of all that yeah I'd have to accommodate them. I did not I did the right thing even though wasn't supposed to visits for Stifel mine safety. Now possible fire escape. Nigeria. I appreciate you sharing that market again. It is this comes back especially when your situation you've got discretion. Use it I think she just use your head that's why I've said repeatedly I don't care for most of these zero tolerance policies even in schools. In Somalia as a darn fingernail clipper. And he forgot it. Maybe they've left to do in their book bag or something. Hutus are for new clue who I'm sorry we have zero tolerance policy for weapons you're suspended for two days you're a moron. If you enforce that policy you are a moron. Is basically what that says he is. You have the brain power to discern. Whether somebody extent lead left there. Fingernail clip in their purse. Poor. Whether they brought that to school so they get mixed somebody's finger. I mean you don't I'm saying. That's what zero tolerance is tolerance policies are for the most part you're too stupid. Tell it to know how to use your discretion. To judge situations like this. Now if you differ with me on this feel free to call and tell me how off the mark I am. I'd love to hear it. Quickly want to get another story can you better brace yourself for this trend. In this one kinda concerns me you what's going on in Washington DC. They may let sixteen year old to vote for president. Sixteen year olds. NBC news reporting the move to lower the voting age has been given a fresh push by the activism of teenagers across the country after. What event do you think has prompted this Charles and John. What do you think it is its sparkle and you're absolutely right. High school students marched to protest for gun control after the park when shooting. Soon they might be marching straight to the voting Booth in the nation's capital. Washington on track to become the first place the country to allow people as young as sixteen. To vote in federal elections. Including for president. As the nation glimpses the emerging political power of the generation that follows Melinda. Holes what is this generation gonna be called if we heard a name for the shipped. This generation coming up. This is part of a burgeoning movement in the US and abroad is growing number of cities and states consider ways to. Expand voting rights to younger people. At the age of sixteen our society are really give showing people greater legal responsibility. They can drive a car they can work. Some are raising a family are helping their family making ends meet they pay taxes. That's the perspective from DC council member Charles Allen the Democrats. I'm sure you're shocked. Who introduced the bill last week to lower the voting age and yet they can exercise their voice where it matters most. At the box. And I'm sure they want to devote because they know they're going to vote Republican. What did I tell you what did I tell you the goal has always been to train. Still manufacture. Voters. And it's working it's even better if you start him at sixteen it's. This is still since Coakley radio program. 36 minutes after 11 o'clock. On the Vince Coakley radio program. A great time for us to. Head down I 85 tour upstate studio and my good friend low and so to take a look at the day in history. My and so good morning and welcome. Vince good morning and thank you. Always good to talk to you. Let's. Look at this day the seventeenth day of April. 2018. We go back to 1790. And the death. Power of the founding father you might call this founding father kind of a lightning rod for liberty. This is the ingredient I'd love this one in Franklin and you are correct. Those truly good. You just brazenly. I'm not. I'm soaked for it might yet step. Well I did miss. 1937. The introduction of a new character to the world port keys duck hunt premieres. What character was introduced in this particular cartoon. Daffy Duck. You are right that's true again I didn't know that 1961. We had this very unfortunate event. During the Kennedy administration 15100. X-Files. Supported by the US attempt to do an invasion of this country. Feuds failed horribly you are correct she was called to be of key it's. Did not do very well at all. It ends up after a half after a harrowing few days. Apollo thirteen. Came down how did it come down. Mean how they could. Well since base. We've seen what the space shuttle does. Now it comes down how did this woman come down glucose into the water. You are correct splashed down. And he is that correct answer and and so goes four for four. That's really good. Try to contain your excitement man. While I'm who would rather win with certain team rather than guessing but you know. Hey look he's all right I'll take every single one of the news every single solitary one of those. You know this is getting to be too much for habit here. I guess this is just part of all eat well. Mechanical only age getting older and put it that way too stingy some audio the other day on this guy who was in movies before and I Coke commercial. To voice to that huge and it. A couple of interesting deaths of notes that's we definitely need to talk about more your digging that went up. There is. Another death known fact we were discussing this earlier. And and I would ask you or did you watch the shooting night court. Yeah you until about the pass and Harry Anderson not yeah. He was hilarious not only that but he was in the original. Made for TV hit movie are you serious yes to us you're predicting no move that. We can do is hosting the Tonight Show on. I alone that is pretty intriguing. And I'm I'm kind of puzzled here about this passing away died at the age of 65. In Asheville is where he made his home he unfortunately. Had I think a business misfortune as a result of the hurricanes of years go to New Orleans use one of those people who I was wiped out at least some of the business. Operations here there and decided to just pull up stakes and moved to Asheville died at the age of 65 we don't know what's cause of death wasn't power play we will make that very clear. But I'm I'm sure a lot of people wondering you know what what was it. But Tom it is sad to see him pass away. We also had another death and this is not a character I'm really that familiar with other than this particular commercial. It's switching to Geico really save you 15% or more on car insurance. There's a Foreman drill sergeant make a terrible therapists and that's my yellow makes me sad I think that's interstate you know it makes me sick. Do anyways should show. Many Happy Land where maybe we can find some sub cabinet for you yet Jack why. The issue he's hopeful that they didn't think it. Worth it to steer the Jaffna. Have done it looks. That is a lot of mud for her it is. Good to remove mixed me so. We're referring of course it's you only learn me to passed away and he's most known for. Movies I'm sure you're familiar with and so. W is full metal jacket yes degeneration you watch I did yes I've not seen that when prime pile. Don't tell me about a scary. No I'm not guerilla that you need you need to watch that I don't 'cause she is something else and my list this is my gun I'm not gonna. Tuna voters whom moved to and sure they were put to some of he's also a movie called for wideners which may be solved with Michael J. Fox. I have not seen that when either. All right it's strange crazy maybe I'll put this on my list to watch when I do one of my day trips. I can watch is on on flight there it and put it right next stack of books the other things I'm Josh what are these days. They need to take a picture of that stack of books. So you can laugh because it's about thirty high these are books that I have started. And have not finished reading. And in there and some process in a lot of time so happen is there's something the prompts me although I haven't read finish reading that and I'll pull it out of us. I'll flip it's it's. I know it's sad it's just a way am I know how how many pages you read in one sitting when you decide to sit down read. Probably the between five and ten maybe. That's that dumb idea problem that's it see this is what's called ADHD. This is well though and the world documented the support in my big problems. Or many occasions and maybe read some fiction books may be. CN reading the books you read you think your school and you displays out CL I don't have time for that so that's the only problem I know. I actually got snow in Kentucky again. And I think in Indiana other places the places I lived before god snow the last few days. So absolutely in saying. On the share fee issue we mentioned will Lewis has been removed as sheriff temporarily while. His case. Is prosecuted he has been charged he has been indicted. Mirror waiting to borrow Kim. To our knowledge she's not turned himself in yet. Text your sister choice of mr. brown is temporary sheriff is a terrible idea do you share few rain green Greenville was his own little fiefdom. And an iron fist. There's a recent all the sheriff's. We're called Johnny's. That's kind of intriguing. Then sixteen year old voting this is how we get rid of the Second Amendment. To probably years. Let's let the children run the country there are also outlaw Faust fossil fuels and disband the military. They're deemed adults and eighteen the dims want children to decide. Lots are term it has to do is offer free condoms and tide pods to get there. There are. Well what is it. Whatever it is they want I'm sure. Then zero tolerance minimum mandatory guidelines were set up because of perceived racial inequities of the problem. Has been solved by the government. Ha ha right yeah you know how the government solves problems. It's a month before the school shooting we had to tell these young people not to eat tide pods now they wanna lower the voting age to sixteen. We be better off to raise it to 35. Recruits dispersant say we'd go the other direction. In DC wants to lower the voting age to sixteen. Finish radar should be at sixteen you can be treading court as an adult to. You think they would agree to that probably knocked. All right he just a sampling of some of the items year on the takes lion. Only condition we take this call is it safe to take this call Charles. I don't think we need to examine some more of the adults make this person was suggesting growing up to 354. Vote yea each. Maybe that's something we gotta consider. The term boy what else do we possibly do. I did want to give you a heads up about some things were gonna talk about leader in the week.
