CMPD investigating Charlotte's 15th homicide of 2017

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in the 6600 block of Fishers Farm Ln. in the South Division.  The call for service came in at 4:44 a.m. on Thursday, March 16.

South Division patrol officers responded to an armed robbery call for services and located a male inside the apartment with an apparent gunshot wound.  The male was pronounced deceased at the scene by MEDIC.  The identity of the male victim will be released pending family notification.

Detectives with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to conduct the investigation.  They are currently canvassing the area and interviewing witnesses to this incident.

Crime Scene Search responded to the call for service to process the scene and collect physical evidence.
